What is it?The MBS is an Ireland Asia work-study scholarship programme for those who want a career in international business in one of the world's fastest growing regions. This unique programme is sponsored by leading Irish and Irish connected companies and supported by the Farmleigh Fellowship, the Department of Foreign Affairs, UCC and Enterprise Ireland (valued at €30,000 per participant). How does it work?You will identify market opportunities for your sponsoring company, generate a live Asian business report, build your own business networks and study for a Masters in Asian Business. Where will I spend my time?You will spend three months in Ireland and nine months in Asia, five months of that in various locations across the region such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, New Delhi, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, etc. What will I get?

Who is eligible to apply?We are accepting applications from experienced professionals to those who are just starting out with their career and want a life-changing opportunity in Asia. We are looking for Ireland's brightest minds with a business, finance, economics, marketing, I.T, science, engineering, humanities, social science or management background and who have got talent and drive and want to build relationships and drive business growth between Ireland and Asia. What are the funding requirements?This scholarship funded programme covers the cost of your tuition at UCC and the business school at NTU, one return flight from Dublin to Singapore, your international travel & health insurance, health checks and student visas (Valued at approx €30,000 per participant). However, you will need to cover your accommodation and day to day living costs for your time in Ireland and in Singapore, approximately 1,200 euro to 1,600 euro per month over the course of the year. Accommodation and travel costs for participants who undertake work-placements or business trips outside of Singapore will be paid for by your sponsoring company.
